Born and bought up in Germany this prominent personality had a tough time in his college where he was accused by his seniors and professors for attacking on the age old rationales of homeopathy. He shifted to South America in 1826 where he continued practicing homeopathy and made interesting conclusions on it. In 1844 he was even designated in the American Institute of Homeopathy for the position of president.

However, the onset of nineteenth century brought with it several changes in the USA homeopathy that included the use of herbs and natural substances. At that time the Germans immigrated to USA in large quantities thereby bringing about a drastic change in USA homeopathy. Although this revolutionary change was followed by a lot of criticisms but with the passing of time and technological advancement this transformation was thoroughly accepted.
